Isabella. Taylor.
Danny rummaged through his backpack in search of the small dried food he had stored at the bottom if his bag. The three still left in their group were hiding out in a dense part of the forest where they were concealed from others. Danny reached in and pulled out the dried fruit along with some other food scraps. He passed out a few pieces and turned to face the two girls. “it was lucky we got out when we did, other wise the cave would have cracked in over out heads.” He sighed and leant back against a tree. He still felt weak but already he could feel his strength returning.
Issy and Taylor. I’m starring a new para. And we are in forest away from storm.
I just wanted to speed it up.
Lost among the others

Tessa woke up in a tree, the tree she had been using as shelter since she last saw Cade. She saw what looked like footprints under it, as she climbed down she didn’t seem to safe, her things in her pack. Tessa didn’t know any other tributes, and Cade was most likely dead. “I need some shelter, and water” She said sighing before heading off. Hearing sounds of faint footsteps in the distance.
Danny ventured off from the others now that the storm was over and they had safely made it to the forest. He grabbed his spear and snuck through the forest keeping his eyes and ears alert. He heard an almost nonexistent thud and quietly walked towards it. When he neared the sound he slowed and crouched. He looked up just in time to see a spot of red hair.
Isabella Hawke: Danny - Taylor - Issy

Danny lay silently on the cold hard floor and listened intently as the storm still attacked outside. The thick stone creating the roof of the cave blocked any wind or thunderous drops but the storm still slipped in through the small entrance. Danny lifted himself on his elbows…
Taylor saw Isabella’s eyes widen and immediately drew a small knife from her belt. She heard the wizzing of Isabella’s arrow and then raced to see what it had hit. Her heart kept racing for a while after they realised it was only a squirrel.
Taylor walked off into the storm in search of some of the squirrels nuts but she had no luck. Grass was strewn all over the ground and so it covered any signs of burrows or something of the sort. She preserved for a while but then gave up. Taylor returned slowly to the cave and waited outside when she heard that Isabella was already inside with Danny.
Danny tried to entertain himself while the girls were out but they were gone for a while and so he started to get worried. He hadn’t heard any cannons but he doubted his hearing when he was up against the storm. Eventually he could hear Isabella’s familiar footsteps coming in to the cave. He smiled warmly at her when she entered. “how are you gorgeous?”

Danny - Taylor - Issy
Danny stumbled to the faint sound of familiar voices that were getting swept away in the heavy wind storm. Blood from the vigorous battle that took place between Danny and Josh had seeped through the thin fabric so it was plainly visible on Danny’s damaged skin. Danny couldn’t deny Josh’s character, skill and will to survive, he hated to think what the outcome would have been had Josh been at full strength.
As he kept walking strands of tall grass stuck on the sticky residue that covered Danny’s body. Fatigue tore at him but he stayed alert, through the heavy wind and rainfall Danny sensed another person in the surroundings. Danny’s quick thinking and utter strength saved him. “Taylor, Issy” Danny uttered in relief and exasperation his eyes falling intently upon each girls face.
“Danny!” Isabella screamed as she saw his faint figure. She ran up to him while Taylor quickly followed behind. They both carried him by their shoulders as Isabella motioned to their right to a small cave that could protect them from the hailstorm. “Let’s get him inside and then check the area for other lurking tributes.” she said. They both laid him down on the cave floor and gave him some water and food. “Just stay here, ok? Stay hidden.” she seriously said to Danny as she got her arrows and went back into the hailstorm.
Relief flooded through Taylor as the injured Danny came into view. She looked around for Josh but found he was not there. Pushing the questions to the back of her mind, Taylor helped Isabella to pull Danny into a near cave and then waited outside so Issy had a moment to sort Danny out.
Isabella soon returned outside and together they crouched with their weapons in search of other tributes. The girls were unable to see clearly because of the storm and Taylor found it difficult to keep still in the cold wind. She looked over at Isabella to see if her feelings mirrored Taylor’s own.
Danny lay silently on the cold hard floor and listened intently as the storm still attacked outside. The thick stone creating the roof of the cave blocked any wind or thunderous drops but the storm still slipped in through the small entrance. Danny lifted himself on his elbows and then tried to sit up so that his back was on the cave’s wall. He ached all over and he could tell that something funny was going on with the bones located in his right wrist. Danny rubbed it, trying to sooth the pain, but the agony grew stronger. He inwardly swore because he was right-handed. Danny let out a breath didn’t know he had been holding and closed his eyes until the girls returned.

Josh Figt: Josh Dead (This is when the hail storm happened)|| Danny & Josh
Josh’s eyes widened as he knew there was no hope now. Only that change in Danny’s look was the dead give away. He started to get up but stayed down when Danny whispered in his ear. Grunting at every kick he gave him. He gritted his teeth when Danny talked about Issy and Dahlia. He couldn’t believe he had set that. He wasn’t going down with out a fight. He struggled to get up off the ground, glad that he had brought his sword. Though he nearly went straight back down when Danny hit him with his trident but he caught himself just in time. He brought his sword out of his belt and turned around to get the fight started.
Danny laughed as Josh’s face hardened. “you might try and look tough. There is no way you will win, but I’ll give you a shot.” Danny told him, trying to get him worked up. He had no idea where this rage was coming from, maybe it was even hurt. Danny shook the thought out of his head.
Danny let Josh try and rise to a fighting position but with every movement he could see the pain in his eyes. Then he saw the sword, that could be a problem. Even when someone was in excruciating pain one slice from a sword could do a lot of damage. “Be careful with that. You could hurt someone”Josh scoffed at Danny’s words. Give him a shot? Oh he was going to be alive by the end of all this. He swung his sword around acting as if he had everything sorted even though it hurt to do what he was doing. He couldn’t look weak in front of Danny though. He wasn’t in a very good mood so when Danny made is snark comment he gave on right back with narrowed eyes. ‘No shit, Sherlock.’ He said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
Danny had no idea where this anger was coming from but it was there and he couldn’t ignore it. He picked up his trident and waited impatiently as Josh tried to intimidate him. “You finished showing off pumpkin?” Danny smirked, “Go on, show me what you’ve got.” Josh slashed at Danny and put a rip in his outfit. That was closer than Danny would’ve liked and he knew he shouldn’t underestimate Josh’s skill even when he was bruised half to death. Danny returned the hit with a but of the trident, which sent him stumbling.

Josh looked up at Danny. He didn’t look like he wanted to help. He had a deadly look in his eyes. Josh immediately got scared. But he didn’t show it. His body was to rigid from bruises that he could hardly move. ‘Danny, mind helping?’ Josh asked, still having a little hope that he would be kind enough to at least help him up and leave him be. Josh knew he wasn’t going to see Issy or Taylor again. He just knew that what would be best for Danny would be to kill him. He wouldn’t have competition and Josh had to many injuries right now. He would be an easy kill. He tried to keep his fear of dying away from his eyes. Make it invisible to Danny.
Danny towered over Josh, “hmm, I don’t think my help will matter much.” he said coldly. Danny turned off any feelings towards Josh and turned into a monster, his eyes turned fierce and his hand gripped the trident.
Danny took a step closer to Josh and knelt beside him. Danny leant in and whispered in Josh’s ear, “Your not so tough now are you” Danny got to his feet and shoved his foot into Josh’s gut. “Not… so… cocky…” he said, each word with a kick. “I hate to think what Dahlia would feel seeing you like this, or even Issy. She was your first love right? I don’t think you ever got over her really, and Dahlia was just someone who helped you cope.”
